Gustav Öller Captain (GS, navy, ret) & MSc. in National Security Strategy

Having served more then 36 years in the Finnish Navy and Finnish Military Intelligence Service, both in National and International environment I have been able to gain experience mainly in the Maritime security and Defence Intelligence domains. My assignments include several appointments with analytical, operational and management responsibilities. I have experience in naval operations, as well in joint intelligence duties during more then 20 years. About 9 of these years in inter- and multinational related posts. This gives me a solid professional and interagency background and understanding in support of multinational intelligence work on both operational and strategic level.

Through working relations in my different appointments I have been able to establish both national and international contacts and network with representatives from different military and civilian governmental authorities and agencies. Working in different teams with multinational participation, not only with military but also civilian experts, has helped me to further develop my skills in leadership, management and teamwork. It has also developed my presentation skills and extended my knowledge and understanding of civil-military and political-military environments
